Chanel has just released an ad film for Blue de Chanel, a potrait of a hero constantly shifting beetween fantasy and reality. The main character played by Gaspard Ulliel, similar to the one in the 2010 ad film, is a famous actor who finds himself in a vicious circle of fame, torn between celebrity and a desire for peace. He decides to release himself from all the pressure and the overflow of attention. Following an inner voice which tells him „You are forever becoming who you are”, he finally find himself alone and at peace. The Bleu de Chanel ad was shot at night in Los Angeles and set to Bob Dylan’s song „All along the watchtower”, interpreted by Jimmy Hendrix.
Bleu de Chanel is a sophisticated all-around fresh fragrance based on the vibrant notes of citrus orchard and vetiver interwoven with deep herbal accords. Combined with woody aromas of Amber, the heart notes of dry Cedar and the Tonka bean create a mysterious intense and deeply sensual fragrance for men who defy convention and cherish their independence and determination. Frankincense, ginger and sandalwood make Bleu de Chanel a highly seductive piece that asserts one's individuality.
